STEP TWO
Reserve Your Sweetheart
Once your application is approved, we’ll schedule a phone or FaceTime conversation to help find the kitten whose personality best fits your family.
$5,000
Companion Kitten
A $1,000 non-refundable, non-transferable reservation fee officially reserves your kitten and is applied toward the purchase price.
Remaining balance: $4,000
Due two weeks prior to your kitten’s go-home date.
Payment accepted via Zelle.
Once a kitten is reserved, that kitten is removed from availability.

Our breeding cats undergo extensive health testing, including DNA testing for hereditary diseases, board-certified cardiologist echocardiograms for HCM screening, PennHIP evaluations, FeLV/FIV testing,PCR screening as indicated, and comprehensive veterinary care.

Veterinary Preparations
Please schedule your kitten's first appointment with your veterinarian before go-home day, as schedules can fill quickly. Your kitten should be examined by your veterinarian within the timeframe required by your Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee. Your Sugar Coons binder will include your kitten's complete vaccination history and recommended schedule for any remaining age-appropriate vaccinations.
Travel Considerations
Families may pick up their kitten in the St. Louis, Missouri area. For families unable to travel to St. Louis, a reputable flight nanny can be arranged to personally accompany your kitten to you. Flight-nanny expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
